Family dentistry is dentristry for the whole family!  Dr. Bahr is comfortable treating patients of all ages.  He comes from a very large family (14 siblings!), has 62 nieces and nephews, and is the proud father of 3 young children!

Family Appointments

Many families like to be able to see the same dentist, and often on the same day.  In this regard, Dr. Bahr and his staff are committed to accommodating families and their busy schedules to make your visit as convenient as possible.  Sometimes it is possible to do "same-day" dentistry, where patients and children can have cleanings, x-rays, preventive care, and restorative dentistry done in one visit.  Children love our kid area and are welcome to play, or watch a movie, while waiting for members of their family to be finished with their treatment. 

Our office recommends that children begin seeing a dentist as soon as teeth appear in their mouth, or at least by the age of one.  Although we probably won't take x-rays until age three or four, it is important for little children (and parents) to be educated on proper oral hygiene.  Moreover, it is important for children to have a positive first visit to the dentist, and our team will do all we can to make your child's first visit a positive one.

Dr. Bahr and his staff love seeing children of all ages, and welcome the opportunity to get to know entire families.  One of the reasons Dr. Bahr chose to become a General Dentist is because he liked the idea of seeing patients every six months, and the opportunity it would give him (and his staff) to develop good rapport and trust with patients.  He and his staff look forward to developing lifelong friendships with their patients.  We want you to feel like you're part of our family, and you will always be treated with the utmost respect and courtesy!
